I just really like the shift in meaning of the lyric "I know I'm young but my mind is well beyond my years" in the beginning it can be read as "oh I'm mature for my age I know what I'm doing 😊😊" but at the later end with everything happening in between it feels as it takes a meaning of "I'm not stupid. I know what's going on here. I know what you're doing."

Perhaps I shouldn’t write this here, I have never told anyone this, but I was a teachers pet. I thought he was just an overly affectionate teacher, up until it was too late. It starts out harmless at first, normalising it and slowly going beyond. Small gestures, more sincere compliments dripping, asking if you could stay after class… and if unlucky it turns to kisses, touching inappropriately and more. He always gave me attention, gifts and made me feel special. Which in turn, made me feel indebted to him. So I returned it by “allowing” him to go beyond what is appropriate. I still feel deeply ashamed and disgusted over it, maybe I won’t ever recover. So please, be careful out there. It could be the ones you least expect, that’s how it was for me…

I am so sorry you had to deal with him. I have a teacher who teases and flirts with me sometimes and he gives me hugs once in a while (im the only student he has every hugged except for one i think). Overall he’s super weird and creepy and I’m gaining the courage to tell someone I’m just afraid that if I do he’s going to dent it or say he “didn’t know” or I’ll end up getting in trouble. Once again I am so sorry that you had to deal with that. It is disgusting what he did. Stay safe! :)

I remember when i was in 7th grade(13 y/o) im a teachers pet of my science teacher... I only thought it was because I'm the top student in that class and all the class he teaches... But i noticed some signs that it might be more than that... he gives me long stares, he randomly smiles at me, he touches my arms/elbows when we got close to each other and that creeps me out as a 13 years old... Then i receives gifts from him or additional grades that i didnt even know where it came from and he always talks about me in different classes he has (my friend from the other class told me about it that how much he praises and compliments me infront of them) Then i took it in a test, i fail my exams, i didnt pass any activities/ performance task or quizzes, and i was always not present in his classes... but then i was still the highest in my class and my grade on his subject was 97💀 like wtf dude. So, i decided to ignore him that im not even talking to him or looking at him or participating in his class... He was 25 at that time. I was often referred to as "nonchalant" by my classmates on how quiet and ignorant i am... But they dont know deep inside that i suffered different sexual abuse... by my uncles/cousins/random people. And because of that traumas I joined muay thai trainings because i dont know how to defend myself when that time comes 💀

storytime: (sorry for my English if it is bad, I am French) In fifth grade, I had a physics and chemistry teacher. I once saw him with a student in my class after class and it always bothered me. So for my entire hundredth grade year I couldn't look him in the eye . in eighth grade. I got it again. This time from November, I started to like him even a little too much. (I fell in love with him a little) I started to have a crush on him, because of all these affectionate gestures, the winks and smirks, the compliments right in the middle of the classroom. We did experiments together. We've already seen each other several times after class but innocently (for me) but I had become so in love with him that I couldn't spend a day without him. I started storing it on his networks, but he didn't have any. I have no trace of him on the Internet. The only things I have are the photos I managed to capture of him or the videos of him talking to me. At the end of the year, I gave him a gift because I knew he didn't take third grades. So that day after class he asked me to stay and I gave him this gift and he hugged me and kissed me. That day I was so happy, but at the same time scared, I wondered how I was going to do next year. Little by little, I saw that the furniture had been forgotten my first name,didn't look at me too much when I passed by. Basically I had just become an average student. But today this morning it was the open days of my college and high school. I was to be a guide with three other friends of mine, except we were bored and decided to go for a walk in the science building. A friend of mine decided to go see him, and we stayed in his classroom. For two and a half hours we talked to each other about our life, about our class, about our grades, about our future paths. We also laughed, talked about serious subjects, watched and held my mother had to pick me up for noon then at eleven fifty. I took my things. and as he left he held me and took me to a nearby classroom. he asked me why I was leaving. I told him that my mother was coming to pick me up. So he talked to me a little, saying that he knew it was a pleasure to spend so much time with me that he missed our fifth and fourth grade classes and that he couldn't wait to have you back as a student before I left he took me and menlaca, for five minutes we were in a nearby classroom smooching. some will tell me that it's inappropriate, but in any case everything is over that day, but after that we have to do better to forget, so that day definitely marked the end of this whole relationship.

I had a teacher who was 100% like this in high school. He failed everyone who didn’t flirt back and it was completely obvious. He got fired but somehow I still had to retake the class. @@seraphiinas I saw your comment and wanted to respond. I'm not sure I fully understand and apologises if I've read it wrong but wanted to give my best shot at trying to answer your question. A teacher/student relationship would be kept secret by the teacher manipulating their student into staying quiet. Obviously if an under age student is involved it's illegal, hence the teacher keeping them a secret to avoid jail. And even if it's not illegal (18 year old college student for example) the teacher is still abusing their position of trust. OP has made a good observation how this could apply to many toxic/abusive relationships though. Examples, an affair situation. The person cheating on their partner could manipulate their partner on side by wanting to keep things a secret. You ever hear of people wanting to keep a relationship secret because 'it's more special'? Melanie has creatively called this behaviour out as what it really is, selfish not special. If only one partner wants to keep the relationship secret it's usually abusive and/or manipulative. Makes me think of Jeffree Star also. As a feminine, gay man he had many men who loved having him around as their 'little secret'. But in public they were too ashamed to be with Jeffree. This made Jeffree feel the opposite of special.

And the fact of the matter is that WE(The older generation/adults/etc) Truly need to put more effort into teaching them and reminding them that the BAD MEN & WOMEN Aren't out there running around looking like the Boogeyman🤡👹💀😈🦍🤶🏻👺👷🏻👽😵👁🤥👶🏼👵. But instead, they DO look like their own mom and dad/Their uncle & aunt/Their Teacher/The mailman/Their neighbors/etc. But we also must make sure to Not scare the shit💩 out of them, and make them Afraid of their own shadows/give them Anxiety/etc. There's a responsible way to do it...a balanced way, and the amount of info should obviously differ based on their age range(just like they say: At what age should we be teaching children how to call 911/999/etc?) And first responders say as soon as possible....once they can understand the concept(so preschool/kindergarten is certainly a good time to begin to at least teach them the concept.) And the same goes for these necessary safety talks. -Sorry.... I was a teacher's pet. I was really happy about that on those times, I thought he cared for me and loved me but not sexually, he said I looked like someone close to him. He would always be on my side, took special care of me in academics and my classmates were jealous that iam getting this special treatment. He doesn't punish me when I come late, he was the vice principal so, he has the right to question and punish me but he never did that when he did punish my classmates. He just smiled and said try to come on time shorty. The older I get I realised that it was just an infatuation or physical attraction just because I resembled someone he knew. I don't know where he is now, but wherever he is, Iam praying for him because he made my school days bright.
